Users of the Tesla mobile app have received an official invitation to a prize draw with the Cybertruck as the grand prize. There will be only one prize, but the company promises it will have the lowest VIN number possible.
Anyone with at least 500 referral credit points on their Tesla app account can participate. The company awards these virtual credit points as cashback from purchases and recommendations.
For instance, if you recommend a Tesla Model S to a friend and they buy it, you receive 3,500 credits. If you recommend a Model 3, your account will be credited 3,500 points.
The Tesla Cybertruck has yet to debut on official terms. Both the production date and the manufacturing start date remain to be revealed. In late April, the company included photos of its alleged Cybertruck production line in its quarterly report, complete with half-assembled Cybertrucks.
