Gambaran keseluruhan
A Volkswagen Beetle RSI – a very rare production spec and also the fastest one on record – is currently available for purchase in Great Britain.
The stock car borrows its engine with 224 PS (221 hp / 165 kW), six-speed stick shift and 4Motion AWD from the R32 VW Golf. This enables it to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) in 6.7 seconds and only top out at 225 km/h (140 mph).
Elsewhere, the Beetle RSI features sports-ready suspension, a Remus exhaust, and a special brake system, as well as a plethora of exterior and cabin upgrades. These include 18-inch Oz Racing wheels, impressively sized bumpers, a spoiler and a large rear wing. The interior greets the viewer with bucket seats and aluminum/carbon décor.
Only 250 such vehicles rolled off the lines in 2001–2003. The example on sale is completely stock and in excellent condition with around 28,000 km (17,400 miles) on the odo. The starting price is £45,000, and the seller claims you should treat it as an investment, because prices will only go up from now on.
