Alpha Motor Corporation has unveiled CAMP, a home trailer concept whose name stands for ‘Collaborative Adventure Mobility Platform’. The company said it wanted to bring the vehicle to the mass market, but could not say when it would be possible.
Based on the Alpha Rex chassis, the camper is being towed by Alpha’s all-electric SUV retrofitted with tubular doors. It also sports a heavy-duty tow bar in the back instead of the bumper and has a shovel in the trunk. Rounding off the modifications are a spacious roof rack and additional lights at the front end.
The modified off-roader is 4,828 mm (188.6 inches) long and 1,900 mm (74.2 inches) wide. It rides on 17-inch wheels wrapped in BF Goodrich Mud Terrain KM3 tires. The droplet-shaped camping trailer has a folding table with chairs inside, a roof tent and other equipment for outdoor leisure enthusiasts.
