RM Sotheby’s will be selling one out of 50 BMW 3.0 CSL continuation supercars announced last year. With an original price of roughly €600,000, it is now expected to fetch €1,200,000.
Aside from sporting an unusual exterior adorned with a retro livery and an elaborate carbon body kit, the car runs on a new chassis and engine. The six-cylinder mill pumps out 560 PS (552 hp / 412 kW) along with 550 Nm (406 lb-ft) of torque to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission.
It also rides on adaptive shocks and has carbon-ceramic brakes. The rear bench has been removed, and the original buyer had it specced with a two-zone climate control system, an infotainment unit, a reversing camera, and a limited-slip differential.
With only 33 km (20 miles) on the odometer, the auction car is basically new.
