British carmaker Caterham intends to wrap up the production of its Seven roadster lineup powered by naturally aspirated engines sourced from Ford. To say a proper goodbye, the company will be producing 85 Final Edition units including 60 standard cars and 25 sported-up CSR ones.
Both versions will be powered by a 2.0-liter Ford Duratec engine rated at 225 PS (222 hp / 165 kW) and 205 Nm (151 lb-ft) of torque. The transmission is five-speed manual, and a limited-slip differential is included. Sprinting from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) succeeds in 4.1 seconds, and the top speed amounts to 224 km/h (139 mph).
The base trim comes with 13-inch alloy wheels finished in black, while the CSR gets 15-inch wheels. The body can be finished in five available colors and optioned with black accents. The interior uses leather and Alcantara for the upholstery, carbon fiber for the dashboard trim, and houses Sports Hex Black seats. Every car comes with a unique serial number plaque.
