The Ford Mustang GTD is a track weapon first and a road-legal car second, and the company wants to take it overseas for a publicity tour.
As you may have heard, one of the key goals Ford set before the Mustang GTD was completing the full Nürburgring track in under seven minutes. The company has now revealed the details. As it turns out, the North Loop run won’t happen until the final quarter of the year, but in the meantime, the car will be hitting all other famous European tracks.
Ford reported receiving 7,500 pre-orders for the $325,000 car in the United States. Delivering them will keep the company occupied well into late 2025.
