Huawei will plug your EV for you

Huawei’s latest experimental prototype is an EV charging point with a robotic arm attached.

The arm can locate charging ports on a variety of electric vehicles and plug into them so you don’t have to get out and do it yourself.

Furthermore, the tech works with driverless cars just as well, Huawei claims. Once Self-Charging Mode is activated, the EV can find its way to the nearest charging station and top up the battery using the same manipulator arm.

It’s just an invention at this point, and actual production prospects are unclear.
