Jeep reveals 5-year production schedule

Stellantis and UAW have reached a temporary agreement regarding the work conditions for factory employees. The car manufacturer has used the strikes as a reason for revising its production strategy for the next several years: according to a new schedule, the SUVs currently on sale will be around for five more years at most, after which they will be replaced with EVs.

The Jeep Wrangler in particular will stay in production until 2028. Its hybrid version will receive a facelift in 2025. The new generation, designated as the J70, will be available with two electric powertrains to choose from.

The Wagoneer and its stretched version will both be updated in 2025 and get a range-extender hybrid option. The Wagoneer life cycle will also end in 2028.

The Dodge Durango will stay until 2025. A new generation will come out that year, offering a wide variety of Durango SUVs running on ICE, electrified and all-electric powertrains.
