Kia has published the first teaser pics, showing the upcoming new generation of its K5 sedan/saloon, also known as the Optima outside of South Korea.
It looks like the car has changed quite dramatically, putting on a more dynamic appearance with a more slanted roof. The light pattern in the headlights is Z-shaped now, and there is a red LED streak running down the entire width of the car rear. The sides are now also more distinctly sculpted than before.
Inside, highlights include a digital dashboard, a new multimedia display and a center console with only a bare minimum of hardware controls. There is also a rotary knob instead of the usual gear switch.
No technical specifications are currently available, and the premiere date remains likewise unknown.
