Classic Range Rover gets Twisted for particularly well-off customers

Around half a year ago, Twisted Automotive UK decided to switch its attention from tuning Land Rover Defenders and give the old Range Rover some love (see video). It has now shipped the first example and revealed new details along with the pricing.

The car seen here is officially known as the Twisted Range Rover Classic (TRRC). The company reckons it can only make 12 per year, each priced at £350,000 (U.S. $465,000) or more. The production queue for the rest of the year is reportedly full, so those who hurry and order their example now should be able to get it in early 2027.

Every restomod ships with a 6.2-liter General Motors V8 tuned to deliver 500 PS (492 hp / 368 kW). An eight-speed automatic transmission and a modern all-wheel-drive system with diff locks ensure that the SUV handles more like a modern one. Further improvements are achieved via suspension and brake upgrades, as well as a slight reduction in ride height.

Interestingly, while a passing glance may leave you thinking the interior is completely stock, it’s actually all-new and built from the ground up using custom aluminum panels. In turn, the interior packs extra-comfy seats, multi-channel audio and the best noise proofing of any Range Rover in existence, the tuner claims.
