Ford has teamed up with sports, adventure and work gear vendor Filson to launch a particularly stylish variant of its Bronco SUV. It packs a tuned engine from the Raptor series and goes on sale this fall, expected to be priced around $75,000.
For once, the exterior of the off-roader isn’t the main focus of the collaboration. You may notice new 35-inch off-road tires and raised Fox suspension, and that’s about it. Drivers get seven off-road presets to switch among.
All power is provided by the Raptor’s 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 usually rated at 424 PS (418 hp / 312 kW) and 597 Nm (440 lb-ft) of torque. The Blue Oval claims it was reworked for the Filson Edition, but further details are unavailable.
The interior is arguably the biggest improvement from the original. It comes trimmed with a weather- and wear-resistant fabric and offer 20% better wind noise insulation compared to the standard Bronco. Owners also get a full set of bags suitable for carrying sport gear, traveling, and more.
