Brabus unveils its fastest-going G63 so far

Last year, Brabus released a tuning program for the latest Mercedes-AMG G63. The option package went by the name Brabus 700 Widestar and included an aerodynamic kit, new wheels and a power boost to the titular 700 horsepower (522 kW). At the Geneva show starting today, the team comes out with an improved version of the same package.

The new Brabus 800 Widestar kit offers a power increase to 800 horsepower (596 kW) and 1,000 Newton-meters (738 pound-feet) of torque. Once installed, it enables the heavy SUV to sprint 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in just 4.1 seconds before maxing out at 240 km/h (149 mph).

The Brabus 800 Widestar also includes an all-carbon body kit consisting of fender flares, auxiliary lighting located on the roof and inside the side air intakes, a dual motor dome add-on for the stock hood, a roof spoiler, a Brabus-branded grille, a spare wheel housing (also made of carbon) and much more.

Among other things, the Mercedes-AMG G63 display car sports Brabus Platinum Edition Monoblock 23” forged rims and a performance exhaust system. Its interior trimming mostly uses genuine leather interspersed with carbon accents.
