Car tuning
Whether due to the coronavirus pandemic or other, less tangible reasons, the compact campervan market grew considerably this year. Hartmann Tuning’s VanSports subdivision decided not to miss out on this opportunity and came up with its own take on the leisure-friendly Mercedes-Benz V-Class.
The family hauler now wears a VP Gravity body kit that comes with black plastic moldings and a sporty-looking rear diffuser. A new roof rack houses a coffer along with a light bar, and new 18-inch aftermarket wheels fill out the arches. The suspension benefits from a 30mm (1.2”) lift, and the bottom makes use of under shields.
The most prominent feature inside is the spacious bed for two that you can unfold after folding down the rear seats. Other notable highlights include a tiny kitchen box for cooking, tanks for fresh and used water, a climate control system, and plenty of storage space.
The tuner will be making 10 such cars, and the first example depicted here is currently on sale. Prices are available upon request, VanSports reports.
