Mike Yin, a vehicle collector, asked Italian supercar maker Pagani for a unique stick-shift version of its Zonda model. The company has obliged, and the resulting car has now been spotted on the streets of Italy.
The company had produced the Zonda since 1999 until 2019 (see video). With the main production officially over, it proceeded to build pricey one-offs for V.I.P. customers and upgrade the already shipped examples. Chances are good that the car depicted here is also not new, but rather a revamped example.
From the technical perspective, it is a Zonda Roadster powered by a Mercedes-AMG V12 with 7.3 liters of displacement and 760 PS (750 hp / 560 kW) at the output end. The company never released any sprint times. If you peek inside the cabin, you can see a chrome gear lever.
As for the exterior, it combines carbon-fiber bits with flashy red accents. The same highlights can be found on the alloy wheels finished in Gunmetal Grey. The fenders are visibly flared, and there is a bulky rear wing at the rear end. Rounding off the stylish image is a rear spoiler that appears to hover above the cabin.
