Porsche 911 Belgian Legend Edition celebrates Jacky Ickx turning 75

The 992 generation of the Porsche 911 emerged in the fall of 2018, but hasn’t had a special edition until now. Enter the Belgian Legend Edition, a batch of just 75 cars celebrating the 75th birthday of Jacques Bernard ‘Jacky’ Ickx, a.k.a. ‘Monsieur Le Mans’.

Throughout his lucrative career, Jacky has won the 24 Hours of Le Mans six times, four out of these behind the wheel of a Porsche racecar. His favorite vehicle, the Porsche 936/77 with 540 horsepower (400 kW) under the hood, brought him three victories.

The special edition comes based on the 911 Carrera 4S series and is brought to us by D’Ieteren, the German sports car marque’s distributor in Belgium. The company teamed up with Style Porsche and Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur for the project.

On the outside, the sporty vehicle boasts an unusual livery called the X Blue, which references the white-and-blue helmet of the legendary racing driver. It rides on exclusive wheels adorned with a special finish (20 and 21 inches available) and boasts a Belgian national flag badge along with Jacky’s signature. Inside, the seats boast 18 power adjustments, the black leather finish sports an original stitching pattern, and the running boards testify to the exclusivity of the series. Ickx’s signature can be found on the center armrest as well.

The entire production batch of 75 cars will be available to Belgian customers only.
