Porsche 911 (992) Turbo S to debut at a special event

Like many others, Porsche had planned to reveal its new car at the Geneva show, but with the latter closing down due to the coronavirus, the company had to settle for a smaller dedicated event with a live online feed.

The company keeps teasing us with new images and videos in the meantime. The short vid shows the car hidden under a cover, but still betrays the wide rear fenders. The photos mainly focus on the wide brake light strip at the rear and the giant rear wing (or spoiler).

It is generally expected that the Turbo S will get a 3.8-liter opposite-six engine turbocharged to deliver up to 640 hp (477 kW) to the wheels, as well as an eight-speed PDK transmission and AWD. The dynamic specs remain unannounced, but should be pretty impressive, given that the previous generation had no trouble darting from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) in less than three seconds.
