Miller Motorcars, from Connecticut, has unveiled a stylish one-off coupe called the JC9. Built by none other than Jason Castriota, it pays homage to some of the German brand’s most iconic racecars from the 1960s and ‘80s.
The basis for the project is provided by a regular Porsche Carrera GT, which had to be cut up in multiple places in order to look like this. Irreversible modifications may sound scary, but that’s the only way this modern car could get a low-slung front end like this, cascading headlights, sleek and curvy wheel arches, and a fixed roof instead of its usual Targa top. While at it, Castriota had it equipped with gull-wing doors and flashy dual-five-spoke wheels.
The standard 5.7-liter naturally aspirated V10 retained its place in the engine bay, but was hooked up to a different exhaust system for an even more characterful soundtrack. A large rear wing was installed there along with fin-like bumper surrounds.
Last but hardly least, the interior was retrimmed in nice-looking blue Alcantara interspersed with 3D-printed plastic accents in light blue.
