Renault Korea Motors, known as Renault Samsung prior to a rebranding in 2022, launched sales of its facelifted QM6 model on the domestic market.
The SUV otherwise known as the Koleos landed with a new radiator grille, a distinct front bumper and different wheels. Only some minor trim details changed inside, though. The top trims received a new infotainment system with a 9.3-inch screen instead of the old 8.7-inch one.
The old 2.0-liter diesel engine with 184 PS (181 hp / 135 kW) at the output end left the market for good, and so did the AWD option. The Koleos for Europe, which was manufactured at the same factory in Busan, dropped the AWD even earlier. Starting now, customers in Korea can choose between a 2.0-liter petrol engine with 144 PS (142 hp / 106 kW) and its natural gas counterpart with 140 PS (138 hp / 103 kW). The only transmission available is a CVT.
The commercial minivan version now offers a cargo area 1,760 mm long and 1,413 liters large, rated for up to 300 kilograms (660 pounds) of goods.
Prices start from 28.6 million KRW. The base trim includes LED lighting all around, 18-inch wheels, six airbags, eco-leather upholstery and climate control.
