The Skyworth Skyhome is a production-close sedan EV from China

Skyworth Group (China) is getting a full-size saloon called the Skyhome ready to rumble. The images here depict a concept version of it, but the company claims it is 90% production-ready.

The existing Skyworth vehicle lineup includes some SUVs and crossovers, but the sedan looks markedly different from them. It runs on a new architecture called CE and is characterized as ‘large’, although the exact dimensions are still unknown.

From the technical standpoint, the Skyhome is an all-wheel-drive electric vehicle powered by two motors jointly rated at 625 PS (616 hp / 460 kW). The manufacturer predicts that it should be able to go 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 3.5 seconds.

Interior highlights include four individual seats, a yoke-shaped steering wheel, a single widescreen display dominating the dashboard and a large extra display for the rear seat occupants.

The car is slated for production ‘sometime in 2024’.
