Zacoe redefines modern BMW M2 with a styling upgrade

Without so much as an announcement, Toyota has appeared at the Goodwood Festival of Speed with two performance camouflaged cars. One of them could be a GT3 racer built for the 2026 season, while the other one could be its Lexus-badged street counterpart.
The company posted a video from Goodwood showing both cars in action, so these aren’t just mockups, either. Spy photographers have sighted these before, but it looks like they may need further testing before the reveal.
All technical details are pending. Some speculate that Toyota could be working on a V8 powertrain capable of 700 PS (690 hp / 516 kW) or so. Its hybridized road-legal counterpart could output as much as 900 PS (888 hp / 662 kW).
Even with all the disguise, it’s easy to see that both models are inspired by the Toyota GR GT3 Concept dating back three years. One of the cars wears what looks like an adjustable front splitter and a track rear wing, so it has to be an actual GT3 prototype. Looking at Toyota’s motorsports participation program, we suppose it could be finalized in time for the next year’s season.
Earlier rumors claimed that Lexus was working on a production supercar to succeed both the legendary LFA and the RC F Coupe. An alleged leak claimed it would be called “LFR”. Lexus hasn’t commented yet.
