The team of AutoTopNL has gotten its hands on a BMW E46 M3 unlike any other: the owner had it rebuilt into a hardcore road-legal racecar with the help of a V10 and a dual-clutch transmission.
Many Bavarian brand fans will agree that the 5.0-liter naturally aspirated V10 that the company used to put in its E60 M5 lineup back in the time was among the most impressive and desirable engines to ever come from BMW. However, it soon became history as smaller, more efficient engines came along. Tuning enthusiasts were also wary of using the massive 507-PS (500-hp / 373-kW) unit in their projects.
But not everyone, apparently. The M3 pictured here was specifically modified to accommodate the ten-banger under the hood along with a transmission borrowed from an E92 M3. The tuner claims there is no other car like this in the entire world.
