Armored Cadillac Escalade is the epitome of fortress on wheels

Canadian armored vehicle specialist Inkas has rolled out an upgrade for the Cadillac Escalade that makes it bullet- and explosion-proof while dialing interior luxury to the max.

At a glance, you might not be able to tell the SUV is non-stock, unless you pay attention to the roof, which is now 126 mm (5 inches) taller to grant more headroom to the passengers inside. Most of the interesting stuff happens in the cabin, where a partition wall separates the driver’s seat row from the main space. There is a giant TV screen mounted on that wall, facing two luxurious captain’s seats equipped with climate control and massage functions. Power-adjustable tables are provided, and the ambient lighting can imitate natural sunlight for when the bulletproof windows all around fail to provide enough.

From the point of view of safety, the Escalade by Inkas withstands sustained gunfire from 7.62mm automatic rifles and a simultaneous explosion of two hand grenades under the car.
