Chery is bringing back its once-popular QQ nameplate. The first car to wear it will be based on the QQ Quirio Concept unveiled in April and will go on sale in late 2025 under the name “QQ 3”.
Aside from the overall proportions, the car has very little in common with its pre-production version. It now sports normal-looking squared headlights, a rather traditional front end and all the bezels Chery usually puts on its compacts. The wheels are pretty much the only part that still looks futuristic, and the c-pillars make us think of certain Smart models.
Coming in at 4.2 meters (164 inches) long, the QQ 3 features a roughly 2.7-meter (105-inch) wheelbase and a spacious 70-liter frunk. It seats five adults and keeps them entertained with a 15.6-inch infotainment system running on Snapdragon 8155 hardware. There’s also a compact-sized digital dash, an AI-powered voice assistant and a powerful wireless charging pad. Atmospheric ambient lighting and advanced driver assistance systems are also on the list.
Powering the Chery QQ 3 is a single 122-PS (120-hp / 90-kW) electric motor on the rear axle. The company has yet to disclose battery specs and range.
