Dongfeng Warrior MS20 hits the spotlight in China

Dongfeng has held a special event in China dedicated to its largest utility vehicle yet, the Warrior MS20. The camper version introduced before hit the podium alongside an SUV variant and a freight truck chassis.

The performance off-roader is being marketed as an upgrade from the M50 model (see video). It is downright massive at 5,970 mm (19.6 feet) long with 3,700 mm (12.14 feet) between the axles. With 340 mm (13.3 inches) of ground clearance at its disposal, it can wade through water as high as 850 mm (33.2 inches). The approach and departure angles amount to 33 and 36 degrees, respectively.

The interior of the SUV offers seating for seven people, a 12.8-inch multimedia display, a set of driver aids and ventilated seats.

Powering the platform is a 6.7-liter six-cylinder diesel engine rated at 314 PS (310 hp / 231 kW) and 1,050 Nm (774 lb-ft) of torque. A six-speed auto gearbox carries the torque to all four wheels.
