It is no one’s secret that the story of the current-gen Ford GT is coming to an end. The supercar will retire, but not before the company puts together 20 special units called LM Edition, celebrating its victory at the Le Mans marathon six years ago.
Four GTs participated in the endurance championship, but it was a red-and-blue car racing under the number 68 that claimed the pedestal. This is why the LM Edition comes adorned with red or blue exterior accents (buyers can choose which ones). This also applies to the 20-inch carbon-fiber wheels. As for the exhaust system, it was made on a 3D printer.
According to Ford, the main highlight inside is a commemorative plaque molded from a finely ground crankshaft of a GT coupe that came third in the Le Mans race mentioned above.
