Honda revamps Ridgeline slightly, adds TrailSport flavor

The Honda Ridgeline pickup has received a mild mid-generational refresh heading into the next model year in the USA. There are only minimal exterior and cabin changes, as well as a new trim level called TrailSport.

Starting with the new trim, is a package deal that includes tweaked shock absorbers, new 18-inch wheels shod in General Grabber A/T tires, a light blue exterior finish and orange stitching in the cabin. Other than that, all updated Ridgeline models get a radiator grille with a different pattern and a tailgate with the model name etched on it.

Inside, the center console has been slightly redesigned, and a single broad, fixed armrest comes to replace two separate pop-up armrests. The wireless phone charger pad is bigger than before, and the infotainment display now measures 9 inches corner to corner. Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are supported as well.

Power for the Ridgeline facelift series comes from a 3.5-liter naturally aspirated V6 mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission. All base trims ship as FWD only, but you can pay a premium for on-demand AWD.
