Keyvany’s newest Ferrari Purosangue is a dark and menacing machine

Around a month ago, German tuning company Keyvany unveiled its own take on the Ferrari Purosangue, calling it the Porroo G Edition (see video). It was a cheery and sporty ride in sun-yellow with black accents, a real head-turner. This one? Same body kit, completely different vibes.

The aero parts are all made from carbon fiber and include flared fenders, side sills, a three-piece rear spoiler, an upper rear wing and a diffuser. The front end also takes a step away from standard Ferrari styling with an elaborate new bumper and a muscular hood. Y-spoke alloy wheels and a turquoise Keyvany logo on the hood round off the look.

It’s true that color can make all the difference, but the new Porroo illustrates the principle like no other car. Whereas the first one was bright and sunny, this one is dark and brooding, almost menacing.

That is, until you peek inside the cabin. It’s all wrapped in turquoise leather with black seat piping and carbon-fiber details for contrast. And if you were looking forward to a Rolls-Royce-style diode headliner, it’s not absent, either.

Complementing the stylistic overhaul is an engine boost to 880 PS (868 hp / 647 kW) and 940 Nm (693 lb-ft) of torque. Tuning a Ferrari V12 up by 155 horsepower and 224 Newton-meters is no small feat, even if it’s being done for bragging rights only. Keyvany claims the luxury Italian SUV now hits 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.3 seconds and can go all the way to 350 km/h (217 mph) if you keep your foot planted on the pedal long enough.
