UK-based car company LEVC has put some polish on its TX taxi cab (see video) and VN5 panel van.
Both hybrid vehicles received an improved 34.5-kWh traction battery instead of the old 31-kWh one. The dimensions of the battery pack remain the same, but the cab now covers 126 km (78 miles) on a charge instead of just 103 km (64 miles).
The plug-in hybrid powertrain stays the same for both models: a 1.5-liter Volvo turbo works in tandem with a Siemens e-motor.
The company has also reported assembling more than 8,500 LEVC TX units over the past five years.
