Mazda CX-30 gets its update in the USA

The North American division of Mazda has facelifted the CX-30 for the next model year. The new starting price is $22,950.

In its most basic spec, the car still utilizes a 2.5-liter naturally aspirated Skyactiv-G engine, albeit boosted by 5 horsepower for a total of 191 PS (188 hp / 140 kW). In addition to this, the revised engine supports more efficient cylinder deactivation, further improving fuel economy.

The range-topping 2.5-liter turbo engine stays exactly the same and hits the wheels with 250 PS (246 hp / 182 kW) and 420 Nm (310 lb-ft) of torque. Opting for this specification will set you back $33,800 or more.

Elsewhere, the facelift comes with side airbags and belt pretensioners for the rear seats already included in all trim levels.
