Multiple Mercedes-AMG GT Coupe prototypes have been recently spotted and filmed on video as they ran lap after lap at the Nürburgring. Judging by the quad tailpipes and the engine sound, they were all eight-cylinder models.
Check out the video to see the GT Coupe in action and see its automatic rear spoiler fold and unfold. Some fixed-wing examples were spotted on the same track, too.
The general expectation is that the lineup will culminate in a top spec called E Performance. The existing GT 63 SE Performance sedan, for example, produces 843 PS (831 hp / 620 kW) and 1,400 Nm (1,033 lb-ft) of torque. The GT Coupe can be expected to use a similar drivetrain.
Last but not least, note that the red car has nearly no camouflage left on its body, suggesting that the premiere is right around the corner.
