British tuner restores classical Porsche 911 Le Mans Classic Clubsport

Restomodding means restoring an old car in its original style while simultaneously upgrading its tech. In the USA, Singer Vehicle Design is the place to go to have your Porsche restomodded. In Great Britain, Paul Stephens is one of the best.

The car took 2,000 hours of painstaking hand labor to build. Based on the Porsche 964 chassis, it features an all-carbon body and houses a V6 engine with 300 hp (224 kW) at its disposal.

The restored Porsche 911 Le Mans Classic Clubsport accelerates 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 4.4 seconds and ultimately gets to 282 km/h (175 mph). This is roughly what the modern Porsche 911 Carrera is capable of in base.

Paul Stephens plans to build a total of 10 restomods, each priced at U.S. $325,000.
