New looks, new strengths: Audi A7 gets an upgrade from BEST-Performance

The Poland-based car tuner BEST-Performance has released an upgrade plan for the Audi A7 3.0 TFSI. There is a power boost, a new film wrapping and a wheel set in stock this time around.

Under the hood, the vehicle receives an optimized cat-back exhaust system by MG Sport, APR throttle valves, a K&N air filter and APR Stage IV ECU software. The result is an impressive 493 hp (368 kW) together with 578 Nm (426 lbft) of torque. The car now sprints 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in just 4.4s, which is almost a full second faster than a stock example can do.

On the outside, the tuner wraps the show car in a chameleon film that changes its colors from goldish-yellow to turquoise. There is also a sports exhaust system, an RS7-like diffusor, ceramic performance brakes with RS6 supports, and an OZ-Racing wheel set (20 inches or so in diameter).

Apparently proud of a job well done, BEST-Performance has stripped the car of its original logos, replacing those with the ones reading ‘RS7’. While we certainly understand the reasoning behind this, we still aren’t convinced that this particular Audi A7 is a match to the range-topping RS7… Well, whatever.
