Nissan has formally acknowledged working on a next-generation Silvia sports car.
According to Ivan Espinoza, Nissan VP for Product Strategy and Planning, the work is still in its early stages. The coupe is envisioned with at least a partially electric drivetrain and a brand-new architecture.
The final decision on whether to produce the new Silvia or shelve it until later will be made in a few months.
