Nissan Terra gets updated in Thailand

Shortly after refreshing its Navara pickup, Nissan has put some polish on its twin brother – the SUV named Terra, which has been in production in Thailand for three years now.

The car gets an all-new front fascia along with minor changes to the rear end. It now measures 4,890 mm long, 1,865 mm wide and just as tall. The wheelbase spans 2,850 mm, and the ground clearance amounts to 225 mm. Tires come sized 255/60 R18.

Power comes from a 2.3-liter twin-turbo diesel rated at 190 PS (187 hp / 140 kW) and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft) – the same one that was introduced a year ago. A seven-speed auto gearbox drives the rear wheels, but you could specify on-demand AWD for a premium.

Interior features include a touchscreen coming in 8 and 9 inch sizes, an 11-inch display on the ceiling, and a 7-inch digital dash screen. The model year 2022 additionally brings along HVAC, new wheels, a multi-function steering wheel, an updates multimedia system, a USB-C slot, a wireless charger pad, and an electronic handbrake.

Included in the standard trim are six airbags, ABS, ESP, AEB, frontal collision prevention, a rearview camera, and more.

The new Terra is already available in Thailand with the base spec being even cheaper than before and the top spec more expensive.
