2020 Renault Megane facelift leaks in spy photos

As evidenced by these spy photos made in southern Europe, Renault is getting ready to roll out a facelifted version of its 4th-gen Megane hatchback.

Based on the images, the new Megane has the same sides as the pre-facelift model, but sports a different front and rear. You can see the reshaped bumpers and radiator grille, the new headlights, and LED lighting throughout.

The facelift comes with a number of interior improvements as well. Industry pros expect the car to get certain features from the 5th-generation Renault Clio, most notably the digital dashboard and the 9.3-inch multimedia touchscreen display.

It remains unclear just what engines the 2020 Renault Megane facelift will ship with. Chances are fairly good that we will be seeing improved version of old engines – or even completely new drivetrains. That said, we won’t know for sure until the official reveal, which will most likely happen at the Frankfurt Motor Show in the fall of 2019.

The Renault Megane Mk4 has been around since 2016.
