Playforever, a company known for its meticulously designed and highly durable toy cars, has launched its latest creation – the Moderna Grand Prix, with an eye-watering $8,000 price tag.
Coming in at a scale of 1:8, the replica is larger than the other entries in the Playforever lineup. It boasts a body machined from a solid brick of ABS plastic. Partially purified latten alloy is also used in places, designed to look clean from the start but gracefully age with time thanks to some leftover impurities.
Per the manufacturer’s website, each Playforever model draws inspiration from iconic cars and planes of the past. You can find some examples in the attached three videos. An important note to make is that all of these models are custom designs inspired by the classics, but not copying them outright.
