Lamborghini Manifesto informs Raging Bull’s design moving forward

Lamborghini Design Director Mitja Borkert has unveiled an all-new supercar concept called the Manifesto, hinting that this is how the company may choose to style its vehicles in the future.

The mid-engined roadster was unveiled during a celebration of the company’s Centro Stile division turning 20 years old. It took place in Lambo’s own car museum in Sant’Agata Bolognese, Italy. Compared to most present-day Lamborghinis, the Manifesto sports a rather laconic and reserved design with fewer sharp edges and acute angles.

With pronounced rear fenders and diffuser, it still looks aggressive enough to be recognizable as a Lambo. No technical parameters have been disclosed, with Mitja Borkert saying it was a “visionary sculpture”, not a car intended for mass production.

The Manifesto is now sitting on a pedestal next to the recently unveiled street-legal Lamborghini Fenomeno and the legendary Countach. Such things are hardly ever coincidental, so one may consider it the company’s hint at what the Manifesto is inspired by and what it aims to achieve.
