Tuning company Mansory has revealed its next project based on the Aston Martin DBX, landing the luxury SUV with a forged-carbon aero kit. A 250-hp performance upgrade also made it into the mix, but it was available before.
The body embellishments include new bumper and side sill trims, fender flares and lots of smaller carbon trim elements around the hood and fender intakes. The enlarged side mirror caps are made from the same material as the rear diffuser, and there is a carbon trim on the tailgate as well.
The rear end is where the kit arguably shines the brightest. The DBX has a spoiler in its base design, but Mansory tops it with a rear wing of its own make and slaps on another spoiler where the roof touches the rear window.
As for the 4.0-liter V8 under the hood, it received improved turbos, an ECU and an exhaust system. As a result, the power output went up from 550 to 800 PS (542 to 789 hp; 405 to 588 kW). The torque also rose from 700 to 1000 Nm (516 to 738 lb-ft), reducing the standard sprint time from 4.5 to 3.8 seconds.
The pricing has not been mentioned.
