AC Schnitzer celebrates 35 years in business with a trio of special BMWs

It has been three and a half decades since German tuner AC Schnitzer began working on body kits and accessories for BMW cars. To celebrate, the company will be releasing three carbon body kit packages.

The release targets the owners of the latest 3-Series Touring, 4-Series Convertible, and 5-Series Sedan. The latter gets the most comprehensive treatment consisting of an air splitter, side skirts and a revised front spoiler. Complementing the dark grey exterior is a set of dual-five-spoke forged wheels finished in black.

The 3-Series Touring makes do with just the splitter, the skirts and some anniversary stickers. It makes use of black wheels at one side and silver ones at the other. The convertible enjoys a very similar overhaul.

German publication Auto Motor und Sport reminds us that since its foundation in 1987, AC Schnitzer has won dozens upon dozens of awards for quality products. For 16 years in a row, the readers in Germany have elected the aftermarket specialist as the country’s best BMW customizer.
