The Bavarian automaker has unveiled the latest version of its Panoramic iDrive infotainment system.
The biggest novelty comes in the form of a heads-up display located on a black strip at the bottom of the windshield. The driver still gets a traditional 3D projector for use alongside the new one. Powering the new features is the latest version of the Android-based BMW OS X, which you can access from a touchscreen in the middle of the dash.
The Panoramic iDrive will be primarily implemented in the company’s Neue Klasse EV lineup.
