There are few production cars in the BMW portfolio stronger than the M5 Competition sedan. Still, Ramon Performance felt it could do more than that and wound up creating what it claims is one of the world’s fastest M5 Comps in existence.
The tuning succeeded in four stages. The first two avoided any modifications to the stock turbos and still resulted in a massive performance increase. The latter two stages saw the turbos modded along with most of other engine internals and the transmission. In the end, the stock 4.4-liter V8 slammed the dyno stand with 1,206 PS (1,190 hp / 887 kW) and 1,348 Nm (994 lb-ft) of torque.
Tuned like this, the sedan snaps off the start line and reaches 100 km/h (62 mph) in 2.4 seconds, doubling that acceleration in another 3.5 seconds. Despite this, it stays largely stock inside with power-adjustable leather seats, a steering wheel wrapped in carbon fiber and Alcantara and every creature comfort you may need in a daily-driven M5.
Contrasting the vivid orange interior is a dark blue body with carbon bits on, black wheels, orange brake calipers and an Akrapovic exhaust system.
