BMW X7 joins the Inkas army of armored cars

Canada-based Inkas Armored Vehicle Manufacturing has expanded its portfolio by cladding a BMW X7 with ballistic protection sufficient to repel bullets and even withstand simultaneous explosions of a few hand grenades.

The Bavarian SUV looks nearly stock outside, except for certain blacked-out parts. The chrome details are gone, the windows are tinted (and much thicker than OEM), and the tailgate conceals a small window and a second door.

Aside from the armor, Inkas fits the X7 with an air filtering system, an alarm with emergency blinkers, a night vision system, and a smokescreen generator. Clients who would like an extra bit of engine power can request a tune to 612 PS (603 hp / 450 kW).

World’s first armor-clad BMW X7 is available to pre-order now.
