Cadillac has shown an almost market-ready version of its Celestiq Concept. The model will become the marque’s all-electric flagship and start from a cool $300,000.
The images clearly show a liftback, contradicting the company’s earlier claims that the Celestiq is a sedan. As expected, the interior makes use of top-notch trimming materials in the marque’s recognizable fashion with predominant red color. Having said that, it is official that customers will get a vast array of trim options to choose from.
The interior will be dominated by a 55-inch touchscreen display, one out of five total. A separate mention goes to the panoramic sunroof with four individually dimmable zones.
It is too early to talk tech, the company admits, adding that a cutting-edge self-driving suite will definitely be on the list.
When the Celestiq goes into production, it will necessitate manual assembly, which will limit the volumes to just a few thousand units per year.
