Built by Vision Retro Designs from Kansas, this Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 has been backdated to resemble the 1969 Chevelle Super Sport model. It is now on sale from Mecum in Glendale without a price estimate.
Starting with the body, the tuner finished it in a vivid shade of orange with copper and golden-hued pigments mixed in to make the color especially rich. 20-inch Schott Performance Magnum EXL wheels slotted in the arches with Pirelli P Zero tires. The whole exterior was reshaped with a carbon-fiber body kit to resemble the Chevelle.
The interior got a full overhaul in black Nappa leather with orange stitching and carbon accents. Last but not least, the 6.2-liter V8 under the hood received a Nickey Stage II tuning that raised it output to 811 PS (800 hp / 596 kW). The six-speed manual transmission and rear-wheel drive remained as is, and Vision Retro Designs apparently never provided any acceleration or speed data.
