This C5 Corvette with C1 Nomad Wagon styling could be yours for $125k

An exceptional Chevrolet Corvette like no other is currently looking for a new owner in Arizona, USA. The car definitely is an exotic, whether you like its design or not.

Built by Advanced Automotive Technologies, the AAT Retrovette belongs to a series of six vehicles, only two of which came painted red. The tuner starts with a 2004 ‘Vette C5 and reshapes its body to look like that of the Chevrolet Nomad Wagon Concept dating as far back as 1954.

The front fascia does a passable C1 impression with its chrome grille, round headlights and chrome side accents. The sides follow a similar theme, and then there’s the rear. Bulbous and heavy-looking, it clashes with the rest of the exterior to the point of ruining the whole sports car flair. We understand and appreciate the intention, but coming up with something looking more like a Shooting Brake rear end and less than a used diaper would be great, indeed.

Powering the American ride is its standard LS1 V8 rated at 355 PS (350 hp / 261 kW) in tandem with a six-speed manual transmission and rear-wheel drive system.

Amazingly enough, the Retrovette is on sale on eBay for as much as U.S. $124,995. We cannot imagine many people being interested in it at this price point.
