This viral Dodge supercar isn’t what it seems

Stellantis Chief Design Officer, Ralph Gilles, posted striking images of what looked like a new Dodge supercar last weekend. Some media have reposted these pics as a sign that a new model was in the works, but we suspect this may not be the case.

In fact, the sketches were produced by John Carioti, an arts college student from Detroit. Gilles probably only reposted them to give Carioti a shoutout and commend on his work. We have no info on whether Stellantis is actually interested in making a vehicle like this.

Some have already called the car a possible competitor to the Ford Mustang GTD, but that’s a big stretch considering that it wasn’t even penned by Gilles.
