Ford Focus ST retires for good

The long and eventful history of the Ford Focus ST hot hatch is finally grinding to a halt in Europe, where showrooms no longer take orders for the model.

A previous announcement said that Ford would wrap up all Focus production by November 2025. It looks like the demand is trickling out, too. There will be no direct successor, because Ford Europe has recently focused on all-electric vehicles co-designed with Volkswagen.

Ford’s model ranges outside of Europe consist exclusively of SUVs and crossovers, so it’s highly unlikely that anything like a new Focus ST appears there, either.
