Mansory gives Koenigsegg Jesko its unique touch

For reasons entirely understandable, the Koenigsegg fan community usually doesn’t endorse further modifications of these insane hypercars. However, a casino in Dubai needed a truly unique prize to give away, and a “bog-standard” Jesko wasn’t cutting it. Apparently.

They ended up asking Mansory for a makeover, and you can see the result with your own eyes in the gallery and video above. We’d say the aero kit errs on the side of caution, and for a good reason – there’s no modifying a Koenigsegg without spoiling it. Carbon-fiber front bumper canards, side sill extensions, a rear wing and a diffuser sum up for a sporty image, but do they add anything meaningful? We suspect not.

Then there’s the typical Mansory interior in a black and light teal to contrast the sandy exterior. It more or less looks like any other cabin makeover from the company. The powertrain seemingly stays stock, and it’s arguably for the best: a 5.0-liter twin-turbo V8 tuned to deliver 1,622 PS (1,600 hp / 1,193 kW) along with 1,500 Nm (1,106 lb-ft) of torque isn’t something you generally want to mess with.

The numbers quoted are for E85 fuel only, but they are still impressive. The Jesko goes 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 2.5 seconds and should be good for 531 km/h (330 mph) top speed, although no one has found a way to test it yet. Tinkering with a mill like that to squeeze out a couple of extra hp may not end well.

All prices are private, but our bet is whoever can afford paying $3,000,000+ for a Koenigsegg Jesko won’t bother asking.
