Check out a wonderfully preserved Lambo Countach worth $0.65M+

This 33-year-old Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary Edition was among the last of its kind in production and enjoys great health despite its age, which is perhaps why the bidding is already at $650,000 with a few auction days remaining.

A customer from the Middle East bought the car new, after which it spent a decade in Canada and ended up in New Jersey in 2015. It has put around 11,500 km (7,146 miles) under its belt since 1989, the last owner contributing only 10 km (6 miles).

Compared to the standard Countach model, the 25th Anniversary series came equipped with a different body kit and had various aerodynamic improvements, such as larger air intakes for better engine cooling.

Like the LP5000 Quattrovalvole before it, the farewell edition came powered by a V12 expanded to 5.2 liters of displacement. It could attain a top speed of 295 km/h (183 mph). The company made a total of 658 such vehicles before stopping the production in 1990.

Looking at the bidding dynamics, the selling price may yet surpass the current one by a large amount. For instance, a restored Countach fetched $936,000 three years ago, and a low-mileage example found a new owner this April for $860,000.
