Lamborghini unveiled the new flagship member of the Urus family – the Performante – last week, endowing it with sinister 666 PS (657 hp / 490 kW) and the ability to launch itself from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.3 seconds. As usual, G-Power wasn’t impressed.
The German tuner has just rolled out an upgrade for the regular Urus SUV, targeting drivers seeking far greater performance numbers. Stage I of the upgrade is implemented via software and nets you 750 PS (740 hp / 552 kW) along with 950 Nm (701 lb-ft) of torque.
Add purpose-designed downpipes to the mix along with sportier catalysts and some other performance components, and you will be looking at 790 PS (780 hp / 581 kW). Finally, replacing the OEM air coolers will let you squeeze every last bit of performance out of the powertrain, which is around 842 PS (830 hp / 618 kW).
You will recognize G-Power’s tuned Urus by its relatively restrained-looking body kit with orange accents and 24-inch wheels sporting Y-spoke patterns. The cabin remains largely untouched, but still gets a handful of accents of the same color.
